We all know that BMWs are not only expensive to purchase, but they're extremely expensive to maintain. When you look at a price list from a dealer for service, even thinks like an oil change are through the roof. But, there's very valid reason why in this article we're going to demystify BMW and explain you what a dealer does during a routine oil change on a BMW for a certain models.

All what you need is an oil change kit, air filter, cabin filter, and some fresh wiper blades. The next step is to safely lift a car at a front driver side using a regular car jack in your vehicle's tire replacement kit. Put the aluminum cooking tray (big enough for this purpose) unplug the engine oil drainage plug and drain the oil. Put the plug back, open the oil cover and pour the required amount of oil. Replace the oil filter. Air filter and cabin filter replacement instructions you can find on YouTube. Done! Once you did this process next time you'll know for sure how to repeat this process again.

Don't Overpay

Another great option is to ask someone more experienced to help you out. May be you have a friend or relative who knows more about cars than you do. Or call local independent European cars specialized maintenance shops.
